Final Fantasy VII

I finally finished playing FFVII, and wow! I really, really enjoyed it. It occurred to me as I was playing that this game has a more engaging and interesting plot than most movies I've seen, and definitely more developed and interesting characters. I was completely hooked from start to finish.

After finishing the game, I rewatched the movie, and it made soooooooo much more sense this time around. ^_^ It was really neat seeing all those characters again and to find out "what happened next". So much fun!

Now that I have the game story and character backgrounds firmly in mind, I will be starting a hunt for fanfic, starting with the links some of you were kind enough to offer in my last post. And I've got an idea for a story of my own percolating, which means I may have just found a new fandom to write in....

Some random thoughts that popped into my mind as I was playing the game:

Thanks to [info]snapedom (IJ) for the link.

John Nettleship, JKR's former chemistry teacher and one of her inspirations for Snape, has posted a supposed missing entry from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. It's fun! Here.

Mephisto is feeling better after reading this ;-)

The more research they do, the more evidence Ohio State University scientists find that specific elements of marijuana can be good for the aging brain by reducing inflammation there and possibly even stimulating the formation of new brain cells.

(Mephisto is one of the protagonists of my story Clippings.)
